With divorce, Matthew knowles' dream starts to fade

In 1980, a sharp-talking Q-Dog from Gadsden, Alabama, married a Texas hottie with Louisiana roots, there was even then a glimmer of promise in the couple. Matthew Knowles was a Fisk graduate and a man-about-town in a small city. Tina Beyincé was a stallion of a woman, with a quiet strength about herself. The couple had their first child within a year, Beyonce, and the second one, Solange, a few years after.
Matthew was seen as a hard working businessman, reportedly earning six figures with IBM. But he had other plans: Nurturing the entertaining talents of his first born and her girlfriends into a powerful singing group.
The young couple almost split early on due to Mathew's singular drive to turn his babies into superstars, but Tina bought into it: She let her husband handle the management end while she began to design clothes for the girls.
In 10 years the girls were superstars, riding the tails of the couple's oldest daughter, Beyonce, while Solange tinkered with a solo project.
After the hard work and tears, Solange got pregnant and had Juelz. Four years later, Bey got married. What would the Matthew and Tina do now?
They had spent the previous 25 years honing, coaching and training their girls for entertainment.
On Nov. 11, 2009, divorce proceedings got under way. In October, a paternity suit was filed against Matthew by Alexsandra Wright, an actress that has starred in a handful of films.
Tina Knowles has reportedly stopped wearing her wedding ring. The Knowles family released a statement last week, saying in apart, ''If anyone is expecting an ugly, messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed.''
Beyonce has flocked to her mother's side to console her, nurture her.

Solange Isn't Interested ...

In what the Haters think.
That much is obvious from the uniquely stylish way she wears, well, anything.
She's simply her own woman, and who can hate on that?
The music, however, is another thing. She recently tweeted that she will be coming out with a mix tape, only that she didn't want it to be called a mixtape. She's calling it, "I Can't Get Clearance," which is a nod to the fact that she couldn't get the samples cleared so she's just releasing the cuts underground.
ONly thing is, it aint underground. Mixtapes, by definition from the recording industry, are illegal (ask DJ Drama).

Channeling Sasha Fierce

when Beyonce revealed her alter-ego Sasha Fierce last year to rave reviews she admitted the split personality it takes to survive in the music industry these days. She had talked of Sasha before, in quips about her stage performances and her dancing.
But when she named a whole album (okay half an album) after the persona she conditioned her fans to an edgier, fiercer Beyonce.
The question is, do we even want Bey anymore?
Should Sasha Fierce be on control for her next series of albums, guaranteeing a fresh, risque' performer with an attitude as rapid-fire and multifaceted as husband Jay-Z?

Should Beyonce Shave Her Head too?

As the Internet went crazy with everything from pity to indignation at Solange Knowles for cutting her head, many people felt her sister Beyonce didn't step up in her behalf.
Surely Bey has an opinion, right? I mean, when Big Sis supported her sister's last album by pointedly steering clear from releasing any music or high-profile appearances until the "Hadley St." album died down (which didn't take long).
Now that Solange has shaved her head, shouldn't Bey cut it all off for support?
