Transformers: More than meets the eye

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

And no, we're not saying that Aunt Viv is a transformer. But some have (not us though). No way.

We've all seen them: Men who dress like women. Not the Madeas of the world, either. We're talking about shapely, breasts-and-everything man. Trannies, or as they're known on the street: Decepticons.
The only thing about these transformers is that, while they are "more than meets the eye," it is getting increasingly hard to tell who's who and what's what these days.
A cursory glance in a nightclub can result in a totally Berserko night these days, and that's even without the assist that alcohol gives to the event. I mean, even Galvatron himself would have a hard time telling who's a woman and who's a wo-man, ya know?
Put simply, we just don't know what team anybody's on anymore. And that's scary. So, I think people should clearly and abruptly "declare" themselves before engaging in intimate conversations. It would spare alot of heartache, pain, and let's face it, money.

Rihanna: I Miss Chris

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Prepping for a new album and trying to focus on her music, Rihanna, in an interview published in The Sun, says she when she hears ex-boyfriend Chris Brown's music she won't turn it off, rather, just the opposite. "I don't snub or turn it off; I listen. I like his music."
When asked if she missed the "I Can Transform Ya" star, RiRi replied: "Sometimes. Actually, yes."
That's not to say she'll get back together with him, but, she says, "There are a lot of reminders, like a lot of hotel rooms, a lot of places we've been to together, music.
Truth is, if RiRi did get back with him, the backlash would be brutal and final: Not only would Tyra Banks, the record-buying public, and Jay-Z, her mentor, bail on her, but "The Big O" would act a fool.
And for her career, that would truly be Russian Roulette.

Chris Brown's album cover for 'Graffiti'

Thursday, October 29, 2009

Chris Brown has released the album art for his forthcoming LP 'Graffiti'. The style is kinda "Star Wars" meets "Space Jam" if you ask me (What's with the
Hans Solo boots dough?)
I don't know, Chris. When people think of you they still see Rihanna's beat-up face -- at least this year -- and it just may be a bit too premature to come out so hard. But what do I know,
I'm not in the record-buying public.
