The End of Summer: Didja Enjoy It?

As the weather cools down, the hallmark hotness of summertime is in its final stages.
Did you have fun?
Did you kick it?
The autumn brings with it its own brand of fun, and stylishness, but the tank tops, the shorts, the shirts are pretty much gone at this point.
No more bikinis, break out the leather!

Vacationing By Yourself: Could You Do It?

Believe it or not, alot of people are going solo when it comes to vacationing, especially internationally. The recession, coupled with friends flaking out at the last minute, has created a slew of singles darting off to uncharted waters in hopes of having a good time.
It's not that people enjoy the solitude, although some do, but it's just that for many people the trip is a culmination of years of hard work, and struggle.
The fear of being in a foreign land all by their lonesome is overcome with a friendly Visa and a glass or two of the local spirits.
I've never done it before but i do have a friend that just came back from Nicaragua by herself. She said it was awesome and liberating.

Are You Just Chillen Letting the Summer Pass You By?

As each day continues to swelter with anticipation with the promise of glorious possibilities, many of us, including me, have simply sat by, content to watch the tumultuous winds blow.
While just chilling can be therapeutic, why haven't we gone on vacation? Why are we so stagnant in 2009? Did anything change?
Is it the economy? More likely its our own personal economy.
Despite the traffic you see on the highway, many Americans are by and large broke.
The 5-day cruise, even the weekend getaway is simply not in the plans this year.
If you're like me sometimes we simply forego going "out," choosing to save the little change it takes to take advantage of the summer air. (Is that healthy?)
Of course, do we really need to travel to "get away"? Not really.
But it'd be nice.

Winter Blahs Are Almost Over

Beach weather is only about 40 days away, people, it's okay, calm down, calm down. I hear it's snow flurries in Nashville, while in the ATL is a chilly 40 degrees. But soon enough, soon enough, we'll all be able to thaw out and chillax in the sun at the beach. Then you can actually get in the water ... then you too can have naps like this on your neck. LOL.
