LOL. Nothing wrong with getting back to your natural roots... its a hell of a lot more affordable than being in the salon every week! And in the age of lace front wigs, there might be a lot more bald & beautiful sistahs running around town =).

July 24, 2009 at 6:54 AMIt upsets me when people cut all their hair off and let it look like hers...do you know what conditioner is? gel? a brush? it just looks like she took the razor to it then walked out the house...short hair is only jazzy when it looks groomed...this looks about as bad as Jigga's chia fro he was rockin....
Ha! @ Assertive Wit. I see your point, lol. Hell, I can't even speak on it because on most days my hair could easily look like Solange's. For me, its this short for a reason: SO I AIN'T GOTTA DO SHIT TO IT IF I DON'T WANT TO, lol. Yeah, it always looks nice or hot when you have a fresh line going on, but for me its just not necessary. As long as I don't have dandruff or lent falling out of it, I'm good.
July 24, 2009 at 5:14 PMI'm not saying that I never get lined up, or that I never brush it or that I never apply some gel to set my curls when it grows out a little bit. But, what I am saying is that I could easily get my ass up in the morn, get all fresh and dressed and not even address my hair that day, or the next few days and I still look just as fly as any other day, lol. Maybe she'll do more with it once she gets use to it being that short.
